Zynga has finally rolled the Zynga Message Center out into a game that we can all be very happy about - FrontierVille. No longer will we have to accept each ribbon or free meal one by one, as we can now simply click on the red and white Z in the top right corner of the FrontierVille game page to see the menu like the one above, letting you accept all gifts in a streamlined fashion without ever clicking away from the game!
For those with no experience with the Zynga Message Center, this menu will allow you to accept not only the free gifts that your friends have sent to you, but you'll also be able to act on Help Requests - "Can you send me a XX?" - in a much quicker fashion as well.
Unfortunately, accepting a gift in the Zynga Message Center does not remove that request from your Facebook gift requests page, but you can easily go back and hit the "Ignore" button on each of those if you'd like to de-clutter the space.
If you don't have the ZMC in FrontierVille just yet, be patient, as it will be rolling out to users over time.

FrontierVille glitch rewards mass amounts of random items
This is one glitch we'd actually be ok with accepting in the long-term (or even permanently) in FrontierVille. Over the last few days, we've seen more and more reports from users on the official FrontierVille forums who have received mass quantities of seemingly random objects in their inventory.
At first, we thought perhaps this glitch was just that - a one-off experience from one or two particular players, until we experienced it ourselves. In a particular example on the forums, users are now reporting (complete with screenshots) that their inventory is filled with 440 Dried Fruit, or even 740! For the record, I have 293, also as part of this glitch, so we know these users can't be lying. Dried Fruit was released as part of a 12 Days of Christmas mission in the game, so could this be a new glitch that has come along with this item?
Perhaps that is the case, but that doesn't explain my own particular experience, which has resulted in 121 Ink Wells appearing in my inventory at random. I haven't received these items as a gift (you can see who sent you items via your Gift Box when you login to the game), I didn't ask for them on my wall. One day I had less than ten Ink Wells, and now, as you can see from the image at the top of this post - I have 121. And 68 Chalks to boot!
Where are all of these items coming from? We're not exactly sure at this point, but the items do appear to function as normal all the same. That being the case, if you see a mass amount of a particular item having appeared in your inventory, it might be in your best interest to use all you can before Zynga fixes the glitch and removes the excess items.

FrontierVille Gingerbread House changed - CityVille cross-promo removed
If you're one of the many FrontierVille players that are struggling to finish your Gingerbread House (either the first or the second time), due to a glitch with the CityVille cross promotion that doesn't give you a Chocolate Bar in FrontierVille after finishing the branded CityVille mission, you'll be happy to know that Zynga has listened to your concerns and has removed the CityVille cross-promotion from the Gingerbread House in FrontierVille altogether.
Whether you're on your first or second go around with the Gingerbread House, there are now just two cross-promotional activities that you'll need to take part in: one for Mafia Wars and one for Treasure Isle. To earn the Chocolate Bars, you'll now have to simply click on the "Ask for More" button from within the Gingerbread House's menu. This will allow you to post a news item to your wall, asking friends to send you a Chocolate Bar. This is a "Give one, get one" situation, so your friends will earn a Chocolate Bar in return, if they help you out.
The rest of the Gingerbread House building requirements remain unchanged, but as the cross-promotional links have now been fixed, this is one feature that now looks to be running fairly smoothly, all things considered.
Were you able to finish both rounds of building the Gingerbread House without running into the CityVille problem?

FrontierVille Hilarious Mission Series makes a game of Zynga's game
Bull@%!#
While these missions aren't actually in FrontierVille, you'll probably wish they were after taking a look at a few of them. A friend and fan of FrontierVille Info, Alexander Cain, employed some Photoshop magic to the standard FrontierVille Goal window for some gut-splitting albeit potentially offensive parodies of the game. Take Cain's first mission, "Bull@%!#," for example. It's description reads, "Trying to sort through all of the connection problems, begging requests, missed quests, crashes and overpriced decorations is sure a load of you-know-what! See if you can come up with a load of you-know-what on your own!"
To complete the Goal, you would fittingly enough have to collect 10 Meadow Muffins, sell 20 Adult Oxen and buy 10 Shovels. Another funny Mission, titled "Quit Arson Around," is described as, "Suspicious fires have been popping up all around your frontier lately; no one seems to know who is responsible. Maybe if you bought more Horseshoes, these things wouldn't happen." Thankfully, Zynga isn't that vindictive, but if they were at least we happen to have the tools to put them out.
Some of the more potentially offensive Missions include "Alone at Last," which reads, "A nice neighbor has taken the kids off your hands for the evening, leaving just you and your spouse. Search your homestead and your heart for some appropriate items for both fun AND pleasure," and "Cruci-fix'un!" We'll leave that last Goal to your imaginations, but check out the original post for even better laughs.

Zynga, Lady Gaga wear the Poker Face in promotion deal talks
You can see it now, can't you? Zynga CEO Mark Pincus and Lady Gaga dance battling in his corner office over the final details of a promotion deal. The Wall Street Journal reports that both the FarmVille creator and the prosthetic-privy musician are in talks regarding a promotion deal for her upcoming album, Born This Way, on May 23.
The two Internet dynamos--for entirely different reasons--have collaborated before during Zynga's campaign to raise money for Japan after its horrific earthquake. Through Zynga, Gaga donated a cool $1.5 million, but now it's her turn (and Zynga's) to make some money ... lots of it.
Fast Company has created a list of possibilities for the promotional deal ranging from the completely logical and almost expected to the not-gonna'-happen. Our guess is Lady Gaga will become a character in one of Zynga's games, most likely FarmVille, CityVille or FrontierVille, like the recent Rango promotion in FrontierVille. Then again, Lady Gaga could come to Mafia Wars like Dr. Dre did and plop her music video on the home page. We're gonna' try and find out what this is all about--you sit tight and keep those guesses coming.

What do you think Zynga has in store for Lady Gaga in its games? What would you like to see Gaga do with this partnership?

FrontierVille: Building customization options disappear, but is it a bug?
If you've ever been in the mood to redecorate your land in FrontierVille, one of the easiest (and need I say free?) ways to do just that is to change the colors, trim details, and roofs of your buildings. While we used to be able to click on most of our buildings and then customize them in a variety of ways (mentioned above), now, it looks like many of the options for each building have vanished.
Users on the FrontierVille forums spotted this problem that I can personally confirm exists, as I'm suffering from it on my Homestead. When customizing my School House, for instance, all you can customize is the walls. I can't change the type of roof; I can't alter the decoration at the side of the building. Unfortunately, this isn't the only building that's been altered, either intentionally or through some sort of bug, as the Covered Wagon, Foundry, Storage Shed, and Barn (among others) have now all suffered the same fate. But is this a bug, or was it intentional? Mizz Faith, a moderator on the Zynga forums, says that she's checking into the situation, but as of this writing, that's all we know.
Hopefully, this is just a glitch, as I would personally be really disappointed if I wasn't able to change the look of my buildings ever again, to match the seasons, holidays, or just my mood. What do you guys think?
Would you be upset if your buildings had to stay in their current color schemes forever?
